I’ve always dealt with embarrassing bumps on the backs of my arms that have been there for as long as I can remember. The worst thing was when I was younger and would hang out with a guy who might put his arm around me then ask if I was cold because it felt to him like I had goosebumps on my arms. But no…it was just this fun condition called keratosis pilaris, which is actually plugs of dead skin cells, which is disgusting.

When I would go to the doctor they would tell me it was dry skin, but I knew that wasn’t possible since I constantly moisturize. So when I found out it was plugs of dead skin cells I started exfoliating more with a semi-abrasive loofah-like glove, but that didn’t help either. I also tried dozens of creams that claimed to help, but never did.

Finally, I heard about Paula’s Choice Resist Skin Revealing Body Lotion with 10% AHA, containing glycolic acid and antioxidants. Rather than acting as a physical exfoliant (like a scrub would), this acted as a chemical exfoliant, which is said to be one of the best ways to change the texture of your skin.

Well, I tried it and have only used it twice and am already noticing a difference. I’m eager to see where things will be in a couple months! I know it’s pretty early to say I love this product, but I will say I’m excited by the possibilities and am looking forward to reviewing this further once more time passes. If any of you have used this product, please let me know what you think! If you suffer from keratosis pilaris, please let me know if any other products have worked well for you. XO
