This past weekend, Danny and I were in Sun Valley celebrating the wedding of one of my best friends, Jacklyn. It was the most amazing weekend full of love and fun, and we were so thrilled to have been a part of it. Jacklyn and I met freshman year of college, as we were both Thetas at the University of Washington and we instantly hit it off. She has always been such an amazing friend to me and I’ve always had so much faith in her relationship with Ben, which began back in 2009. Sun Valley has always held a special place in the hearts of these two and it’s where they got engaged nearly one year ago.

Danny and I flew out to SV Friday morning, checked into the Sun Valley Lodge then attended the rehearsal dinner at an absolutely delicious restaurant called Cristina’s. Dinner was followed by drinks with the rest of the wedding guests at a local bar called Whiskey Jacques, which was a blast. Some of the guests had been there since as early as Tuesday, so it was very fun to celebrate with everyone before the big day.

The next morning, we were up and getting ready at 8 am in Jacklyn’s bridal suite, which was such a great experience. Seeing Jack in her wedding dress for the first time was truly breathtaking. I didn’t think I would cry, but boy was I wrong. I was sniffling and wiping my eyes the whole ceremony. The love between these two is undeniable so all the emotion was bound to come out of me.

I’d have to say my favorite part of the weekend was getting to have girl time with the rest of the bridesmaids and our beautiful bride. Those are memories that I will never forget and will always reflect fondly on. And Sun Valley was such a beautiful place! I’d never been there before and am looking forward to returning sometime in the winter to get the winter wonderland experience. Below are just a few pictures from the multitude of photos that were taken this weekend. PS: I highly recommend Konditorei for brunch if anyone plans on visiting SV sometime soon. If you have any restaurant recs for my next visit, please let me know! XO
